Moseley GC was in fabulous condition for the semi-finals and final of the 2019 Worcestershire County Matchplay Championships, held on Sunday 21st July.
The first semi-final was contested by Shaun Roberts (Worcester G&CC) and James Robinson (Redditch), with James taking the victory by 4&3, with some steady par golf.
The second semi-final was an all Moseley GC affair, with Mark Dunkley just edging out Richard Sadler by 2up.
The final was a close affair, with the score AS after 9 holes. However, James Robinson nudges ahead on the back 9, and went 3 up on the 15th, after pitching to 2 feet, for a conceded birdie 3, with Mark just missing from 15 feet. When James parred the 16th the match ended 3&2.

David especially thanked the greens staff for all their hard work, and also thanked the referees, John Brothwood, and Clive Werrett, who covered both a semi final, and the final.
