England Golf have update their guidance for clubs and golfers following confirmation that Covid Restrictions will ease on 17th May.
Play Safe protocols update from 17 May
Following on from the Governments announcement last night we have confirmed the 'Play Safe Stay Safe' framework which will be in place from 17 May.
The only change from the guidance sent out last week is regarding spectators which has been updated to the following:
Spectators are permitted and must follow social distancing guidelines. Clubs must include the safety of spectators in their Covid-19 risk assessments. For more information on the rules that spectators must follow, please contact your local authority.
We have also produced guidance on conducting Committee Meetings and AGMs which can be viewed below.

We are receiving a number of queries on the topic areas below. Please note our guidelines for these have not changed for 17 May but will be reviewed for 21 June.
Sharing a buggy
Members of the same household/bubble can share a buggy. Otherwise, buggies should not be shared. This restriction is in place due to social distancing not being able to be adhered to when sat in a buggy.
Removal of flagstick/use of bunker rakes
Flagsticks should continue to not be removed and bunker rakes not used unless for individual use. This is as inanimate objects should be cleaned and sanitised after every use which is not possible for on course furniture.
Tee time bookings
Booking of tee times is still required for track and trace and to ensure that people do not congregate in one place.
