Andy shot 72 + 71 for a 1 under par total of 143, around a very tricky Kidderminster course, in blustery conditions.

Harrison Leaver (Worcester G&CC) had the other sub par round of the day, with his morning 71. He added a 74 in the afternoon to complete a 1 over par total of 145 to take the best amateur prize and gold medal.

Other prizes went to Luke Rogers (Kidderminster) for 2nd best amateur with 149, and Nathan Slater (Bewdley Pines) for 3rd best amateur with a total of 150. Josh Thorpe (Bromsgrove GC) was second best professional, and equal 4th overall, with Nathan Slater.

Nathan also took the Secretaries Bowl for best 72 hole combined score from the Worcestershire Amateur Stroke Play Championship, played back in June, and today's Worcestershire Open score. Nathan's 150, added to his County Championship score of 146 gave him a total of 296, just edging out Ben Woodward (Worcester G&CC) by one stroke.
