We would like to share with you the funeral arrangements for John F. Moreton.

John’s sisters, Helen Pollard and Elisabeth Mulliner, have arranged with the Birmingham undertakers Ambler Brothers that his funeral will take place at the Robin Hood Crematorium at 3pm on Monday 24 April, and afterwards at the Moseley Golf Club at around 4pm.

The Robin Hood Cemetery and Crematorium will be found at:

Streetsbrook Road

Shirley, Solihull

They will meet the coffin at the crematorium, where there will be a commemoration of John’s life led by the Humanist speaker Stephen Measures. At John’s request, Helen will read a short extract from Shakespeare, and anyone present is also invited to speak if they would like to. No flowers please. Donations in John’s memory are welcome at the crematorium or can be made to the Loughborough Bell foundry Trust via the “Just Giving” web site.

The car park entrance is on the right as you travel north from the crematorium, a short way from the junction of Springfield Road and Addison Road. There is a barrier which should lift as you approach the drive. A buffet will be provided, but since the number of attendees is unknown, please excuse us if we fall short with the catering.
