Severnside Match Report
A young & inexperienced team represented the U18’s at this years severnside event. Glamorgan v Worcs There was some fine golf played by all the Worcestershire players facing a team made up of Welsh internationals. The big win was for Tom Blizzard who won on the 18th with a fantastic approach shot securing the point.

This didn’t tell the whole story as both Cassius and his Gloucestershire opponent played sensational golf with birdies throughout. If it were a strokeplay event both players would have broken the course record. There was also excellent performances in this match from both Matt Vickers and Euan Choi who both came very close to gaining a point.

Good early wins for Alex Perry, Harry Evans and Cassius Blake had Worcestershire in a strong position but a Gwent comeback meant that we needed a point from Euan Choi. This match was all square on the 17th but an unbelievable up and down on the last two holes meant Euan secured the win for Worcestershire.
